Saúl defended his thesis and earned the M.Sc. degree

On August 9th, 2019, Saúl defended his thesis entitled “Design and implementation of an Industrial Internet platform for supervision and control of industrial processes”. The evaluation committee graded the Thesis with maximum distinction and awarded him the M.Sc. degree. Congratulations!!

Our Fondef  project “Big-data Platform for Operational Intelligence: Application to Chuquicamata’s Refinery” has been selected for funding in the 2nd Mining Technological Research Program. The 18 months project focuses on developing a set of data-driven models to support the operation of Chuquicamata’s Refinery.
