On March 24th 2017, the Internet of Things and the Industry 4.0 diploma started its first version. Eighteen professionals from fields as diverse as IT, EE, Automation, and Sociology, form the first cohort of the program. In the first set of lectures, the director of the program Felipe Núñez gave an overview of the Internet of Things, related initiatives from the control and communications communities, and development platforms for IoT prototyping.
